Why do my pics make this color look brown? LOLS This is sooooooo weird cause I'm looking at my fingers and they clearly look gunmetal gray to me. I guess my light is really THAT bad lol So yeah, Armed and Ready is supposed to be a gunmetal gray with bronze micro glitter. I have to say, this was very easy to apply unlike most of my experience with Essie polishes. Too bad I hate the color. It just looks like dirt on my fingers....I thought it would be a better winter color but it just made my hands look even more drabby. I never really liked these murky colors, they never look good on my skin tone. Oh well, better luck next time!
It's a really interesting color irl, kind of a shimmery olive drab, yes? It seems like it would be a difficult color to wear. Got to love a color that refuses to photograph properly, too, lol. ;p
ReplyDeleteI had Armed and ready - but didn't like it either, I was disappointed of how little the shimmer in the blackened olive base showed once out of the bottle.
ReplyDeleteIt's probably your camera settings, that you need to adjust...
