Sunset Chevron

Sunset Chevron Nails
I have to start by saying I wore this mani for 5 days!  Since I've started blogging, I haven't worn a mani for more than 3 days, but I loved this so much, I just couldn't make myself remove it.  It also lasted very long without any chippage what so ever!  After applying Julep's Daisy, I knew I couldn't pull off just wearing this mustardy yellow without making my skin tone yellower, so I figured, let me find something that can divert the mustardness.  I found my Brucci Camille's a "Blast" (orange) and Brucci Lindsay's Top Tomato (red) and slapped on some chevron tips.  It came out better than how I thought it would look and I absolutely loved it!  It was bright, vibrant and summery!  Some people say they looked like candy corn, some thought it reminded them of Arizona, but to me, they look like the flames on a burning matchstick.  I hope you guys like it as much as I do!

And thanks for all the suggestions for storage. I ended up getting a small plastic 3 drawer system to keep them in for now, until we get a bigger space or until we buy a house.  I can't stand the polish up so that's a bummer but it'll do for now, it's temporary until I have some room for a Helmer or a "Melmer".

  12. Wow, five days is a long time! I can totally see why you kept this one on, though; it's so cheerful and warm! It's such a fun loo, too--I can totally see the sunset/match tip effect. ;)
